- This was recorded 100% live at Coast Recorders. Drums at one end of the room, bass in a corner, guitar amp at the other end of the room, Jason Stevens singing in the iso booth, Beth Garber in the middle of the room singing into a Sennheiser 441 behind a small curtain. Game, set, match.
- Drums were a hodgepodge of old Ludwig. 24″ kick from my oyster blue 1974 set, and the two floor toms from the silver sparkle 1970 Bonham kit. Kyle Teese hit those toms HARD and they liked it!
- Snare was a 60’s Rogers Holiday 5×14. I remember that it was a Remo Center Spot head.
- I said “100% live” above. Well it was except for the 30 people we had in later to do handclaps. Before they come in (around 1:55) you can hear Kyle conducting: “ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!” I left that in the mix on purpose 🙂
